It seems like ASUS is having a constant stream of leaks pertaining to their next-gen laptop. After the leaks for the AMD Cezanne-based offerings, now here’s one featuring the upcoming Intel Tiger Lake-H processors. The ROG Zephyrus Duo 15 SE has been spotted with an 11th Gen Intel Core i7-11370H, which Intel has yet to announce.

According to earlier leaks, the Intel Core i7-11370H is a quad-core processor, which might make it look like a downgrade from the current-gen ROG Zephyrus Duo 15, which sports eight cores with the Intel Core i9-10980HK.

Single-core performance should be quite significantly improved with the new Willow Cove core architecture, but multi-core will take a beating with half the number of cores. There will probably be higher-end SKUs down the line as Intel has been rumored to offer up to eight-core configurations on the 10nm SuperFin process with Tiger Lake-H.

The ROG Zephyrus Duo 15 SE has been certified by the Wi-Fi Alliance, PANTONE and the Korean Agency for Technology and Standards (KATS), which points towards a launch sometime around CES 2021. ASUS’ internal documentation points towards 48GB of RAM and a 280W power adapter, which might mean that we will be seeing the ROG Zephyrus Duo 15 SE sport a flagship discrete GPU, similar to the current-gen offerings.

Enthusiasts looking for a premium laptop should have quite a number of options to choose from, as ASUS is expected to release the ROG Zephyrus Duo 15 SE with AMD and Intel processors. Considering that previously the Zephyrus Duo 15 was only available with 10th Gen Intel Comet Lake-H processors, this is a huge design win for AMD.
