HONOR CEO Suggests Future Smartphones Will Come With Google Services

Following their separation from HUAWEI, many have pondered on whether HONOR will bring back Google services back to their devices. It seems that might be the case according to the brand’s CEO, George Zhao.

HONOR to bring back Google services?

HONOR View40 backGeorge Zhao has said that “there’s no reason for the company not to partner up with Google again”. At the time of writing, the company has partnerships with Intel, AMD, Qualcomm, as well as MediaTek.

Seeing that list, it appears that Google is the only thing that’s missing. According to a recent interview with South China Morning Post, the CEO has said that they are already in talks with Google.

We’ve previously reported on the new HONOR V40 but it is still unknown if the brand will be releasing a global version of the device that comes with Google services.
