The folks at realme Malaysia has today officially launched the new realme 9i where it’s the first device in the country to be powered by the Snapdragon 680 chipset.

As mentioned earlier, the realme 9i is powered by a Snapdragon 680 SoC and it comes with a 33W Dart Charge fast charger. Coming in with Prism Blue and Prism Black colour variants, the phone features the Stereo Prism Design.

It sports a 6.6-inch LCD display with 90Hz variable refresh rate. In terms of storage, there’s two RAM options, 6GB and 4GB where they are mated with 128GB of internal storage. If that’s not enough RAM for you, they have the Dynamic RAM Expansion technology where it gives 5GB and 3GB virtual RAM.

Under the hood is a big 5000mAh battery and over at the back there’s a triple camera configuration which consists of a 50MP main camera, 4MP Ultra Macro lens, and a 2MP B&W portrait lens. For selfies, there’s a 16MP camera at the front.

The realme 9i 6GB variant will be up for the first sale on the 22nd of January for the price of RM869 and it’s available for pre-orders today at 5pm where you can get a free realme Buds Air 2 Neo for the first 500 customers. If you want to get your hands on the 4GB variant, it will be available at RM799 at a later date.
