New Apple product launches may be just around the corner, with reports suggesting that we could see them as soon as October 17, 2023. Web publications Supercharged and 9to5Mac are anticipating the release of Apple’s 2023 iPad Air, iPad mini, and standard iPad models.

Both sources suggest that these new Apple tablets will come equipped with updated chips while retaining the design elements of their previous generation counterparts. The 2023 iPad Air is expected to feature Apple’s M2 silicon, while the 2023 iPad mini could incorporate the A16 Bionic chip. Additionally, the iPad mini is rumored to include a new display controller aimed at resolving the “jelly scrolling” issue that has affected the current generation model.

Regarding the chip for the base model 2023 iPad, details remain unclear. However, it is plausible that it may also feature the A16 Bionic chip. The current model still uses the older A14 Bionic, so an upgrade is long overdue.

Apple iPad 10th Gen Review

In terms of the iPad Pro models, it appears that Apple won’t introduce new updates just yet. Instead, reports suggest that these next-generation models will only make their debut next year, although specific dates were not provided. Previous rumors have hinted at both models incorporating OLED displays for the first time, offering new features such as Always On and Standby, similar to what’s available on the brand’s latest iPhone generations. Stay tuned for more updates on these exciting Apple product releases.

Pokdepinion: I’m quite excited to see what the new iPad Air will bring. It’s been a while since I’ve last heard of the “Air” moniker so I’m hoping it would bring something significant to the table.
