LG Electronics is expanding cloud gaming on its 2023 TVs by offering 4K support for NVIDIA GeForce NOW in over 80 countries and launching the popular Boosteroid service in over 60 countries. With the Game Quick Card on webOS 2023, gamers can now access these services directly from their home screen, including Utomik, Blacknut, Twitch and YouTube.

LG 2023 TV users can enjoy gaming on GeForce NOW at 4K 60FPS with no additional downloads, installation or hardware required. This service is also currently available in Full HD (1,920 x 1,080) at 60FPS on LG TVs (2020-2022 models) running webOS 5.0 and higher, with support for 4K gaming on GeForce NOW coming to select 2022 TV models at a later date.

Boosteroid, the world’s largest independent cloud gaming provider with four million global users, is another exciting addition to the cloud gaming services. Owners in Europe, North America, and part of LATAM can now access hundreds of top PC video games without the need for a console or set-top box.

LG is committed to offering a diverse range of gaming services through its expanding webOS ecosystem and will continue to partner with gaming industry leaders to bring its customers a broad selection of options for different preferences and interests. This year, TV owners can expect even more cloud gaming services, including Amazon Luna.

LG’s premium TVs, known for their ultra-smooth gameplay courtesy of a 0.1 millisecond (gray-to-gray) response time and low input lag, provide a more personalized gaming experience with the Game Optimizer and a variety of customization features and game-genre-specific picture settings. Blockbuster games, such as Cyberpunk 2077, No Man’s Sky, and Warhammer 40,000: Darktide, become even more realistic and dynamic when played in stunning 4K resolution.

With the continued growth of cloud gaming services, LG’s expansion of cloud gaming experience on its 2023 TVs aims to provide users with seamless access to a wide range of games, without the need for additional hardware or installation. LG TV owners can enjoy a personalized, immersive, and high-quality gaming experience on their premium TVs.

Pokdepinion: If you were ever looking for a reason to get yourself one of their TVs, this would be a pretty solid one…unless your country doesn’t have support for the aforementioned services. In which case, just wait it out a little bit longer.
