The HONOR Watch 6 smartwatch is now available for purchase in Malaysia, offering more than 120 built-in sports modes, along with dedicated Professional Badminton Mode and Professional Football Mode, both of which HONOR said are available without additional app downloads or subscription fees.

Here’s what the new aforementioned modes do in the HONOR Watch 6: the Professional Badminton Mode tracks swing speed, hitting power, number of swings and longest consecutive hits, and categorizes specific shot types, including smashes and clears, while calculating forehand-to-backhand and overhand-to-underhand ratios; the Professional Football Mode provides post-match analysis, including heat maps and movement trajectory data showing player positioning during a match.
The watch is powered by what HONOR describes as an Intelligent Sense System, providing continuous tracking of heart rate, blood oxygen levels and sleep patterns. Additional features include dual-phone notification alerts, wrist-twist gesture controls, and an AI Recorder function that generates voice notes and summaries synced with the HONOR Notes app.
There’s also NFC Smart Access, allowing users to unlock doors or access compatible facilities using the device instead of a physical access card. The 1.46-inch round AMOLED display has a peak brightness of up to 3,000 nits, which should be bright enough to handle direct sunlight; battery-wise, it comes with a 980mAh battery, offering up to 35 days of use on a single charge, or up to 42 hours with GPS enabled.
The HONOR Watch 6 is available in two variants, both measuring 46.5mm. The Shadow Black model is constructed from recyclable aluminum alloy and weighs 41g (without straps), while the Twilight Brown model uses a stainless-steel body and weighs 50g (also without straps). Both variants carry an IP69 rating for water and dust resistance, plus 5ATM depth resistance.
