Poseidon Games announced that its idle adventure RPG, Golem Hero (頑石小英雄), will begin its first international closed beta test in Malaysia on 12 August 2026. The test will run until 25 August and will be available to Android players in the country; during the testing period, the development team will collect player feedback to refine the game ahead of its official launch.
Golem Hero Closed Beta
According to Poseidon Games, Golem Hero represents a step in the company’s expansion into international markets, with Malaysia selected as the first overseas test market. The company said feedback gathered during the beta will help the team understand player preferences across different markets and inform further development of the game’s content.

Golem Hero is an idle adventure role-playing game centered on character progression, following a golem character as it develops strength over the course of the game. The title is set in a fantasy world with a lighthearted tone, combining accessible gameplay with progression-based mechanics.
The game includes idle progression and automatic combat systems, allowing players to accumulate resources while offline. It also includes character development, equipment customization and team composition systems, allowing players to build teams based on individual playstyles and gradually increase their characters’ combat capabilities.
During the closed beta, the development team will evaluate the game’s content, user experience, balance and technical stability, with player feedback used to guide future updates. Players in Malaysia can download Golem Hero from Google Play beginning 12 August, though Poseidon Games noted that the test schedule and available content are subject to change, with updates to be shared through official announcement channels.
