Street Fighter 6 Gets Rated – Release Date Expected Soon
In a rather interesting update, Street Fighter 6 has reportedly received a rating. This means that the release date could be announced very soon.
Street Fighter 6 Rating Means Big Things On the Horizon
Street Fighter 6 has recently been submitted for a rating in South Korea, which likely points towards a release date being announced pretty soon. If you’re expecting the game to launch in the near future, that will likely not be happening.
In a recent financial report, Capcom disclosed that they have one more major IP launch slated for the current fiscal year, which means it will happen before 31st March 2023. However, we already know that major IP is Resident Evil 4 Remake, which means we won’t be able to expect Street Fighter 6 to launch before 1st April 2023.
So far, we’ve seen a beta session for the game already, which is why we have gameplay footage on YouTube. We do expect more chances for early access gameplay as we get closer to its launch day. After all, Capcom would like to gain as much feedback as possible not just for features but also game balance.
Street Fighter 6 will be coming to the PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X, and PC sometime in 2023.
Pokdepinion: While I am personally more excited for Tekken 8, I’m still looking forward to giving this game a shot. I also want to see if they would be bringing in guest characters since a lot of fighting games have included that.
