HoYoverse has announced that Zenless Zone Zero Version 3.2, titled “Their Secret Histories”, will launch on 9 September 2026, introducing the new Armorer Agent Specialty alongside two new S-Rank Agents and additional events.
The first half of Version 3.2 will feature Claret, an S-Rank Electric Armorer Agent and head of Flint Workshop, while Roxy, an S-Rank Wind Stun Agent and chief smith of Flint Workshop, will debut in the second half. During the version period, players can also receive a cumulative total of 10 Encrypted Master Tapes and 10 Boopons through login rewards.
Zenless Zone Zero Version 3.2 Introduces Armorer Specialty
The Armorer Specialty focuses on balancing offensive and defensive mechanics and introduces the Maim and multi-CRIT systems. Claret can accumulate Gash on enemies through her attacks – once the effect reaches its required stacks, attacks using specific skills can trigger Maim, dealing additional damage and increasing Laceration damage. Her skills use DEF as their base damage multiplier.
When Claret’s CRIT Rate exceeds 100%, the excess is converted into multi-CRIT, which uses Laceration DMG in place of standard CRIT DMG. Her initial CRIT DMG is also partially converted into CRIT Rate at a specified ratio, making DEF, CRIT Rate and CRIT DMG central to her build. Armorer Specialty can also trigger Counter Assist mechanic, allowing them to contest certain enemy Control Skills and push affected enemies back.
Roxy’s combat mechanics are based around Eyes of the Storm. Holding her EX Special Attack creates a tornado that forms an Eye of the Storm, and she can subsequently gather and detonate Eyes of the Storm to create a larger tornado, while her Ultimate generates multiple tornadoes for an area attack.
Claret’s exclusive Signal Search channel will be available during the first half of Version 3.2, followed by Roxy’s channel in the second half. The respective reruns will feature S-Rank Agents Nangong Yu and Promeia, together with their Exclusive W-Engines.
New Events, Outfits & Gameplay Updates
Version 3.2 will begin a series of events through Versions 3.2 and 3.3 that allow players to obtain Angels of Delusion faction outfits without charge.
The 14-day check-in event “Surprise Screening Plan” will allow players who complete the required missions to select one Angels of Delusion outfit. The limited-time “Clink, Clank, Pinball Knight!” event tasks players with working with Kahkiboo to create a pinball machine, with an additional outfit available after completing its Challenge Mode through the Angels Support Operation page.
Other events include the virtual pet-raising activity “Diary of an Orbie Parent”, the Booastrum investigation event “Chronicles of the Hobbling Crow” and the HIA virtual combat event “Shadow Chase Showdown”, with rewards including Polychromes and Tuning Calibrators. The Enigma of the Labyrinth: Operation Bagel will also receive a standard season update, adding new Z-Rank valuables and character Gear, additional challenges, server-wide rankings and renewed season missions. New season-limited inventory items and Proxy accessories will also be available in the store.
Claret and Roxy will receive new Tactical Prisms and Armorer Specialty General Gears. A new “Break-Even Beacon” item will allow players to summon a Bangboo to move some supplies before an extraction attempt, allowing those supplies to remain counted towards the current round even if the extraction fails. Hollow Zero will also receive updated exclusive Gears for Claret and Roxy.
Beginner Guide & System Changes
The Beginner Guide will add Jane, Hugo and Soldier 0 – Anby. Players who did not claim the Agent self-select perk in Version 3.1 can select one of the three Agents after updating to Version 3.2. Completing Phase 2 missions will also allow players to select the corresponding Exclusive W-Engine.
Agent Koleda will receive an enhancement, while the Perfect Assist trigger mechanism will be adjusted so golden flashes consistently activate Defensive Assist and red flashes consistently activate Evasive Assist. A new Armorer-focused VR Training stage will also be added to the VR Training Room. In addition, the City Fund Benefits will introduce the Bloodmarrow Coffer W-Engine, which can be redeemed in future versions using the Great Builder’s Certificate.
