[Computex 2019] AMD’s 3rd Generation Ryzen processor pricing leaked — AMD Ryzen 9 3900X with 12 cores, 24 threads priced from $499

AMD’s latest processors are due to be revealed later today during AMD’s CEO Keynote at Computex Taipei 2019, but it seems like Tweaktown managed to spot a leak on the livestream of the event, revealing that the latest processors will be priced from as low as $329 (~RM1376).

For now, there aren’t much details, although they did catch a mention of “for third-gen Ryzen a big focus has been high frame rate and light threaded games” which should hint at higher clocks than ever seen on a Ryzen processor. With more cores and higher clock speeds, it would seem like the new Intel Core i9 9900KS may just be a bit too late.

• AMD Ryzen 9 3900X – 12C/24T – $499 (~RM2087)
• AMD Ryzen 7 3800X – 8C/16T – $399 (~RM1669)
• AMD Ryzen 7 3700X 8C/16T – $329 (~RM1376)

What differences would the Ryzen 9 3800X and Ryzen 7 3700X bring? We have no idea, but we will soon find out. Stay tuned!
