Corsair RAPIDFIRE mechanical keyboards coming to Malaysia

Remember all the hype Corsair was churning up to build anticipation for its latest exclusive switch from Cherry? Well we know it was the Cherry MX Speed switches, and they will be featured in the Corsair RAPIDFIRE series of mechanical keyboards.

The Cherry MX Speed switches feature a much shorter actuation distance, which means you have to press it less for it to actuate. With the light 45g actuation force, we should be looking at really quick actuations.

As it builds upon the already well-known K70 and K65 keyboards, you get everything that was good in the keyboards with the new RAPIDFIRE series. You get the nice anodized brushed aluminium frame, full anti-ghosting (NKRO), excellent lighting, detachable wrist rest, USB pass-through and also dedicated multimedia controls. FPS and MOBA-optimized keycaps are also included with the Corsair K65 RGB RAPIDFIRE and Corsair K70 RGB RAPIDFIRE.

The full-length Corsair K70 RGB RAPIDFIRE will retail for RM619.

For fans of more compact keyboards, the Corsair K65 RGB RAPIDFIRE is also available for RM560.

Pokdepinion: I am sure when the Corsair RAPIDFIRE series was announced with a new exclusive switch, many of you out there thought that Corsair would price it ludicrously, simply because it’s exclusive. Well with these pricing I think it is quite reasonable as they are quite similar to the pricing of the keyboards with the older switches. We are just waiting until we can get our hands on them to see how much faster they are compared to the usual Cherry MX switches.
