Digi offers FREE unlimited data for subscribers — 61 days of unlimited data to celebrate Merdeka?
Digi subscribers apparently received free 61 days of unlimited data under a new Internet Gemilang add-on. Digi prepaid and postpaid subscribers paying RM38/month or more are now able to enjoy unlimited data from 12am to 12pm.
Eligible users received this SMS from Digi earlier today:

And upon checking their MyDigi app, they found a new Internet Gemilang data balance in the internet page. Apparently those who were previously on cheaper plans, also received the free unlimited quota upon upgrading to a plan worth RM38/month or more.
The new Internet Gemilang seems like an extension of the Digi RM38 unlimited plan spotted by some users in the official Digi forum earlier. While 12am to 12pm might not seem like the most useful time for unlimited data, you can set your smartphone to download updates overnight to conserve on your quota during your waking hours.
Or if you are nocturnal, you can also enjoy it. :P Postpaid subscribers will see speeds up to 30 Mbps, while prepaid subscribers will be capped to 15 Mbps. Digi subscribers rejoice!
