Horizon Zero Dawn Invades Monster Hunter World
Very few people are more excited for us regarding Monster Hunter World’s upcoming release, but developer Capcom just made the game far more enticing to PlayStation fans. In a brand new trailer debuted at Sony’s Paris Games Week 2017 Press Conference, it was revealed that Aloy, the protagonist to one of 2017’s best games, Horizon Zero Dawn, will be a playable character exclusive to the PlayStation version of Monster Hunter World.
Seen in the trailer below, Aloy takes on her signature outfit as she tackles dragons and other monsters, that, frankly, aren’t too much bigger than the ones she would take on in her own game. With that said, the fit seems natural, given that Capcom has added various characters from other game series in the past.
Monster Hunter World will be making its way to PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One on January 26th 2018. With that said, you can only grab this playable character on the PlayStation version. Make sure to check out Aloy, in all her glory, in the newly revealed trailer at the top of this post.
On a side note, a brand new trailer for Horizon Zero Dawn’s The Frozen Wilds Expansion was released at Paris Game Week. The new trailer showcases the expansion’s beautiful environment alongside some cinematic and Aloy fighting some cool creatures, which may convince you to pick The Frozen Wilds up if you aren’t fully sure yet. The trailer is pretty short, only clocking in at one minute, but it does show that this expansion seems to be just as solid as the base game.
Pokdepinion: Well, it would be an interesting combination, especially with Monster Hunter World being in the middle of such hype and Horizon Zero Dawn being one of the contenders for best game of 2017.
