ASUS Releases ROG STRIX & DUAL Radeon RX 7600 GPUs

ASUS today officially announced three models with the new AMD Radeon RX 7600 GPU silicon. The ROG STRIX, DUAL OC and DUAL V2 OC all comes overclocked from the factory – and unlike NVIDIA equivalents, so far there’s no default clockspeed variants on offer just yet.

The ROG STRIX model uses a slightly uncommon dual-fan, triple-slot (2.9-slot according to ASUS) form factor which they claim to help maximize the effectiveness of the axial fans. Despite its dual fan configuration however, the dimension is definitely on the large side with 281 x 135 x 59 mm, as far as dual-fan GPUs are concerned. Out of the box this will boost up to 2755MHz (+100MHz over stock), with game clock differing based on BIOS modes – 2375MHz on OC mode (+125MHz over stock) and 2355MHz on default mode.

Meanwhile, there are two versions of DUAL series, named DUAL OC and DUAL V2 OC respectively which use previous-generation designs. The DUAL OC (pictured above) gets a more aggressive 2745MHz overclock (2340MHz game clock) thanks to its larger footprint at 245 x 134 x 49 mm, whereas the DUAL V2 OC will feature a less aggressive overclock at 2715MHz/2300MHz but in turn feature a smaller shroud size at just 205 x 128 x 49 mm.

All three models will feature I/O layout that contains a single HDMI 2.1 port as well as 3x DisplayPort 1.4a outputs. No local pricing has been revealed as of this writing, however.

Pokdepinion: Was hoping the Radeon cards can get the new DUAL designs too, oh bummer.
