It’s tiny!

Leaker @KittyYukko has brought us what looks to be a RTX 4060 GPU that is still unreleased so far. Contrary to the monstrous footprint that RTX 4090 occupies – this particular Founders Edition card looks even tinier than some of the RTX 3060 AIB cards we’ve seen before. There’s no dimensions figured mentioned – though if we have to guess, it’s a bit closer to the “half-height” PCIe cards by the looks of its size. It is worth noting that this card likely uses the same flow-through cooling design first found on high end RTX 30 series GPUs, but omitted for the midrange models.

Oddly, despite the card labeled as RTX 4060, the leaker claims this is in fact a RTX 4060 Ti. We don’t know why, but it’s possible that this prototype happens to mismatch or share coolers on both versions of the PCBs. To recap – the RTX 4060 comes with 3072 CUDAs and 8GB GDDR6, with just 115W of TDP; whereas the RTX 4060 Ti is said to have 4352 CUDAs paired with the same memory configuration, with its TDP raised to 160W instead. We can’t verify the authenticity of this card, so take this with a good amount of salt if you need to.

Pokdepinion: That looks very tiny indeed, and given the TDP paired with a more efficient flow-through cooling design, that does makes some sense why it’s being that small.
