Maxis has introduced its new Hotlink Travel SIM package, providing unlimited 5G internet access across four countries: Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, and Indonesia. This new package applies to both inbound tourists and outbound travelers, with unlimited data and calls applicable to both plans offered.
Hotlink Travel SIM
Available at RM35 for 15 days and RM60 for 30 days, the Hotlink Travel SIM includes unlimited internet capped at 12Mbps (subjected to 100GB fair usage policy), along with unlimited local calls within Malaysia. Hotspot usage is also unrestricted if you intend to enable online connectivity to other devices, such as laptops.
If you’re staying in these regions for an extended period, Hotlink offers additional internet passes, including the RM4 day pass, RM12 weekly pass, and two monthly passes: RM25 unlimited data pass (6Mbps), or the RM45 high-speed internet pass with 40GB quota available.
The SIM can be purchased at Maxis Centres located at KLIA Terminal 1 and 2, Langkawi International Airport, Penang International Airport, and selected tourist destinations nationwide (details here).
