Google is updating its logo for the first time since 2015, although you’ll have to pay close attention to see what’s changed this time. The latest iteration of the ‘G’ involves the same shape as the ones 10 years ago, though the colors are now blended together into a gradient.

The search engine giant says its new look “visually reflects our evolution in the AI era,” and the gradient colors will be implemented into other services under its banner as well. Gemini is the first of them, already getting the four-color gradient in its spark-shaped icon from the original blue hue in June; Google Home was also recently spotted in App Store with the new change.
As for other Google apps, the icons, which are constructed through various red-yellow-green-blue combinations, will see gradients applied when they roll out in the “coming months,” the company said in its blog post.
