New ASUS ZenBook OLED laptops have arrived from just RM4299
ASUS Malaysia has just taken the wraps off their latest ASUS ZenBook OLED laptops, further expanding their lineup of creator laptops featuring stunning OLED panels. The new ASUS ZenBook Pro Duo 15 OLED and ZenBook 13 OLED will be joining the previously announced ASUS ZenBook Flip 13 OLED and ASUS ZenBook Flip S.
ASUS ZenBook Pro Duo 15 OLED (UX582) – from RM12 999
Building upon the success of last year’s ASUS ZenBook Pro Duo (UX581), we now have the ASUS ZenBook Pro Duo 15 OLED. While the UX581 already came with an OLED panel, the one here is an even better display. To better suit content creators, the new 4K OLED HDR NanoEdge display supports the VESA DisplayHDR True Black 500 standard as well as 100% DCI-P3 gamut coverage.
The ZenBook Pro Duo 15 OLED also offers an upgraded ScreenPad+ that now raises to an angle for a more ergonomic viewing experience, while also allowing more cool air into the cooling system. This is what ASUS dubbed the Active Aerodynamic System Plus (AAS Plus), and it has worked wonders.
ASUS took advantage of the improved cooling solution in the ASUS ZenBook Pro Duo 15 OLED to pack more powerful hardware under the hood as well. We now have the latest 10th Gen Intel Core processors along with the GeForce RTX 3070. It’s unfortunate that ASUS didn’t manage to cram an 11th Gen Intel Core processor into the ASUS ZenBook Pro Duo 15 OLED in time (UX582) in time though for a massive upgrade.
On top of the improved displays and performance, ASUS seems to have managed to make it slightly thinner and lighter at 21.5mm thin and 2.4kg light. And yet, the 92WHr battery inside is larger too. Quite a nice upgrade, all things considered. You do lose one USB-A port in exchange for a USB-C Thunderbolt 3 port, but I guess that’s more than fair.

The ASUS ZenBook Pro Duo 15 OLED will be available starting 7th June 2021 from ASUS Official Stores and Authorized Dealers.
ASUS ZenBook 13 OLED (UX325) – from RM4299
The ASUS ZenBook 13 OLED is essentially the previously launched ASUS ZenBook 13 with an OLED display panel. The ASUS ZenBook 13 OLED is apparently the world’s lightest OLED laptop, despite being slightly heavier than its non-OLED brethren. It’s also very compact for its screen size, with its FHD OLED HDR NanoEdge panel that touts an 88% screen-to-body ratio.
In terms of hardware, it is identical to the ASUS ZenBook 13. For the same specifications, ASUS Malaysia will be asking for an additional RM300 if you decide to go with the ASUS ZenBook 13 OLED over the non-OLED variant. ASUS will also start offering the ASUS ZenBook 13 OLED (UX325) from 7th June onwards at ASUS Official Stores and Authorized Dealers.
One more thing…
On top of announcing the new ASUS ZenBook OLED models, ASUS Malaysia will also be adding a new SKU to the ASUS ZenBook Duo 14 family. This new model drops the NVIDIA GeForce MX450 graphics found in the previously announced options to allow it to come at a more affordable price of RM5199.

Pokdepinion: I think OLED laptops will quickly become mainstream in the content creator segment… Not sure when it will arrive gaming laptops though.
