Say Goodbye To GTA Online… On PS3 and Xbox 360
Rockstar Games has just announced via an official statement on their website, that they will be shutting down the servers for GTA Online on the PS3 and Xbox 360 on December 16 this year. This is due to the company wanting to focus more on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC versions as well as the upcoming PS5 and Xbox Series X and S versions.
Furthermore, website stat tracking via the Rockstar Games Social Club will also be shut down and Shark Cash Cards will no longer be purchasable after September 15 this year.

Additionally, the PS3 and Xbox 360 versions of Max Payne 3 will also see its online multiplayer, leaderboards and website stat tracking via the Rockstar Games Social Club shut down on September 16. Website stat tracking for the PS3 and Xbox 360 versions of L.A. Noire will also shut down on September 16.
Again, Rockstar made it clear that the shutdown of these features “will have no impact on access or progress in Story Mode for any of these titles on either platform.”
