[CES2019] Lenovo Reveals Latest ThinkPad X1 Carbon And ThinkPad X1 Yoga
At this year’s CES 2019, Lenovo has introduced to the public on their latest models from the ThinkPad lineup in the form of the ThinkPad X1 Carbon and ThinkPad X1 Yoga.
Lenovo ThinkPad Carbon
Coming in at 14.95mm thin and starting at 1.08kg, it features a 14-inch display. The Lenovo ThinkPad Carbon comes with a Dolby Atmos Speaker System, where it features two top-firing tweeters and two down-firing woofers to deliver a more realistic and immersive sound worthy of a premium laptop.
There’s also four far-field microphones to help you with your conferencing collaboration experience and with the system being digital assistant ready, you can utilize voice commands by using Cortana in Windows 10 or Alexa.
According to the company, you can work continuously with its 15-hours of battery life. The laptop also offers LTE-A Wireless WAN and CAT 16 LTE, offering gigabit speeds where supported.
There’s a selection of displays available, including 500 nit, 10 bit, 4K Dolby Vision panel, or a new brighter 400 nit FHD display.
The ThinkPad X1 Carbon will be available later in the year in June, with an expected starting price of US$1709 (roughly RM7032).
Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Yoga
In addition to the Carbon, Lenovo has also introduced the new ThinkPad X1 Yoga. The laptop is thinner and lighter (1.35kg) with a smaller footprint thanks to narrower bezels and is contructed in a precision-machined aluminum chassis.
Other than that, it comes with a premium keyboard, display options, Dolby Atmos Speaker System, far-field mics, and of course a long battery life.
It also supports all docking solutions, such as the ThinkPad Mechanical Dock. Additionally, tyou can the ThinkPad Pen Pro to offer multi-mode pen input.
Similar to the X1 Carbon, the ThinkPad X1 Yoga will be made available in June 2019. As for the price, the expected starting price is US$1929 (around RM7937).
Pokdepinion: These laptops most certainly looks for those professionals who travel a lot. I don’t see myself being able to afford them.
