PlayStation Collaborates With NBA Star Paul George To Release The PG 5 PlayStation 5 Colorway
In a recent blog post, NBA superstar Paul George announced that he has released a pair of special sneakers in collaboration with PlayStation and Nike. The sneakers, dubbed the PG 5 PlayStation 5 colorway, is a product of the basketball star’s passion.

The PG 5 PlayStation 5 colorway has been designed by designers from both Nike and PlayStation including Yujin Morisawa, the artist that was responsible for designing the whole look of the PS5. “Just like the PlayStation 5 console, the PG 5 is my platform to take my game to the next level, so I couldn’t pass up the opportunity to bring these two elements together in this new partnership with PlayStation,” said George, who is also a self-professed fan of the PlayStation brand.
In terms of design, the PG 5 PlayStation 5 colorway features the PG and PlayStation logos on the tongues of the shoes as well as taking heavy cues from the overall design and colour scheme of the PS5. The sneakers also feature the classic PlayStation button shapes along each shoe which is more akin to the ones found on the DualSense controller. Each pair of sneakers will come with a special hangtag that features both the PG and PlayStation logos.
That’s not all as the PG 5 PlayStation 5 colorway will also be making an appearance as in-game items in NBA 2K21 on both PS4 and PS5.
