Genshin Impact 1.6 Leak Reveals Ayaka, Kazuha, and Yoimiya Banner Release Date

Previously, we reported a leak on the upcoming Genshin Impact 1.7 / 2.0 livestream schedule, where it’s expected for them to showcase everything that’s coming in the next update. Now, miHoYo has officially confirmed it.

Genshin Impact 1.7 / 2.0 Livestream Confirmed

miHoYo has officially announced that the Genshin Impact 1.7 / 2.0 livestream will be happening on 9th July at 8AM (UTC-4), which would be 7PM on the same day in Malaysia (GMT+8). As reflected in the leak, it will be streamed exclusively on their official Twitch channel, but a recording of the event will be uploaded on their official YouTube channel on 9th July at 12PM (UTC-4) / 11PM Malaysia time (GMT+8).

From what we know thus far, we are expected to see the new Inazuma region added into the game, at least a portion of it with the remainder being released in stages until early 2022. Apart from that, we’re expected to see the arrival of Ayaka, Yoimiya, and Sayu, with the former’s banner being launched first while the latter two will be coming simultaneously at a slightly later time.

One of the major things you can learn about Inazuma is via the latest addition to the Genshin Impact roster, Kaedehara Kazuha. She escaped the region after the Electro Archon, Baal, executed a Vision Hunt Decree in order to attain eternity.

For now, Genshin Impact 1.7 / 2.0 will be launching on 21st July 2021. It will be available on the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Android, iOS, and PC. A Nintendo Switch port of the game is still in the works and is expected to launch sometime soon.

Pokdepinion: Well, looks like the leak we got our hands ended up being accurate after all. Given how big of an update this will be, it’s not one that you should miss out, and I have a feeling there is a surprise in store for everyone.
