With fans clamoring for the release of Red Dead Redemption 2 on PC, it appears that it will finally become a reality as Rockstar Games have officially confirmed that it will indeed be happening.

Shared via Rockstar’s website, it was revealed that Red Dead Redemption 2 will drop next month on 5th November 2019 for PC gamers. The game will be available for purchase through Rockstar’s new PC storefront, the Rockstar Games Launcher, but it’ll also be coming virtually everywhere else. Red Dead Redemption 2 will hit Steam, Epic Games Store, Greenman Gaming, and the Humble Store. Steam specifically won’t have the game added until December, however.

Those who pre-purchase the game through the Rockstar Games Launcher starting 9th October 2019 and going through 22nd October 2019, you will also be able to get two free games from the following list:

  • Grand Theft Auto III
  • Grand Theft Auto: Vice City
  • Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas
  • Bully: Scholarship Edition
  • L.A. Noire: The Complete Edition
  • Max Payne 3: The Complete Edition

This marks the first time that a Red Dead Redemption game has come to PC. The original game never ended up hitting the platform, to the dismay of many fans of the series. However, Rockstar’s other big property, Grand Theft Auto, has long been one of the most popular games on PC. GTA V specifically still has a large and thriving community on the platform, especially when it comes to the modding community.

Once again, Red Dead Redemption 2 will be coming to PC on 5th November 2019.

Pokdepinion: I can’t wait to see what sorta crazy mods will be making its way to the game.
