No projector, no problem

A brand new cinema hall equipped with Samsung’s Onyx LED Screen has recently been unveiled by MBO Cinemas at their new outlet located in Atria Shopping Gallery in Damansara. It is the cinema chain’s first ever Samsung Onyx LED Screen equipped hall.

To those of you who aren’t in the know, Samsung’s Onyx LED Screen foregoes the traditional use of projectors found in other screens and instead uses their Cinema LED Technology called “Onyx”. The Onyx technology is capable of offering 4K resolution that supports High Dynamic Range content, accurate colour presentation and distortion free images. Accompanying the Onyx LED Screen is a true-to-life sound system powered by HARMAN’s JBL Sound System which ensures clean and balanced sounds for all audiences across all rows. MBO Cinemas hopes that with the Samsung Onyx LED Screen, it will redefine the traditional movie-going experience with ultra sharp and higher quality content.

In addition to the Samsung Onyx LED Screen launch, MBO Cinemas also introduced their ever popular MBO Kecil and Big Screen concept halls.

To commemorate the launch, Samsung is offering all its Samsung Mobile App users a special buy one free one promo when you purchase a movie ticket for the Onyx hall at MBO Atria Shopping Gallery. All you need to do is buy your ticket at the cinema itself and show them the e-voucher code from the Samsung Mobile App to get your free extra ticket. Better hurry though because it is a limited time promotion!

Pokdepinion: I absolutely love Samsung’s Onyx screen! Watching movies on that screen is an absolute joy and it is something I would definitely recommend to friends and family.
